My newsest news… I received release dates for my first three e books! Sonata of the Flesh from Phaze Press will be out… okay, I don’t have an actual date on that one, but it’s in March. Feature Attraction from Whispers publications will be out March 28, and The Younger Man from the same May 9. I’m pretty psyched!
Aaannnddd (drumroll please) I received notification that my futuristic was passed up to an acquiring editor at Ellora’s Cave. EC is, for me, the Holy Grail of e-publishing, simply because they have so many readers. Yay!!!!
And that’s about all for now- my fingers refuse to type any more until I brew some coffee. So ciao for now!
I’ve gotten caught up this evening in the excitement of author Brenda Novak’s fabulous annual diabetes auction. I’m a sucker for a good cause, and this one definitely is. I’m saving my pennies as well… I’ve heard tell that there are some veeerrry nice opportunities that are going to be auctioned off this May… a year’s mentoring with Brenda herself, or a read from a big editor with a guaranteed 24 hour turn around time, anyone?
My website just went live this evening- I’m very, very excited! And this week I signed the contract with Loose Id for my novella “Sex and Love”, which will be released in July. Life is good.
On a completely different note, I just finished watching The Fifth Element, which I haven’t seen in years. I was watching it for inspiration for a futuristic that I’m plotting- and that movie has much color, sound, and action that my head is now full. So I’m off to write- goodnight all, and thanks Andy for getting this all up and running!
